Aldila Rogue Shaft Review

Aldila used a higher balance point and advanced materials to improve the performance of the Rogue shaft. This low-torque shaft gives elite players and high swing speed golfers more stability at impact. The high kick point encourages lower launch and lowers spin through the the less dynamic loft. The Graphitic carbon fiber enhances control without reducing feedback and helps players time golf shots more effectively than prior models. During my testing with the Rogue Silver 130 MSI shaft, I was hitting a Callaway Epic Flash driver. I had the club built with the 60-gram Tour-extra-stiff version. The Rogue shaft was responsive and held up at driver swing speeds above 115 miles per hour. I am familiar with the higher balance point shafts and enjoy their response in my gamer driver and the Epic. Overall I found the Rogue Silver 130 MSI to be an outstanding performer that left very little to be desired.

The enhanced stability coupled with the higher balance point gives players more options and the ability to hit the golf ball further. Players looking to upgrade their driver shaft need to be trying the newest Rogue from Aldila.
