BirdieBall is most famous for their indoor putting solutions. However, one of the most unique products in the golfing space is the hallmark BirdieBalls. Not to be confused with the name of the company, the BirdieBalls are limited flight golf balls that simulate curvatures when impacted with golf clubs. BirdieBalls fly approximately 40-60 yards total when struck with drivers and they make fantastic practice tools in larger backyards or on shorter ranges.

Key Features

BirdieBalls are limited flight golf balls that spin just like actual golf balls to create similar flight patterns.

Anyone with access to 60 yards can hit every club in their bag and see if their shots are drawing, fading, slicing, or hooking.

BirdieBalls are incredibly durable and can be used over and over again.

Design and Technology

BirdieBalls are practice golf balls that mimic the spin of golf balls on the range and course. As golfers deliver the golf club to a BirdieBall the unique shape and materials within them create a flight that draws, fades, slices, or hooks depending on how you swing.

BirdieBalls are limited in their flights enough that they can be used in backyards or at parks for anytime and anywhere practice.

BirdieBalls Practice Golf Balls

BirdieBalls are a PGA award-winning, limited-flight practice golf ball designed to simulate the feel and flight of real golf balls, but with a restricted distance of 40 yards. These innovative practice balls offer golfers of all levels the opportunity to practice full swings in confined spaces, such as backyards, parks, and schools, without the need for a traditional driving range. With their durable super polymer construction and patented true flight technology, BirdieBalls provide accurate swing feedback and realistic ball flight, making them an ideal training aid for improving golf skills.

PROS

  • BirdieBalls can be used almost anywhere, especially with wedges up to mid irons.
  • BirdieBalls simulate the flights of traditional golf balls in a way that allows golfers to practice in a more convenient fashion.
  • BirdieBalls are impressive in their durability even after being used several times with a driver at high club head speeds.

CONS

  • The noise produced after the BirdieBalls are hit are not always pleasant.
  • Users should be sure they have the BirdieBalls resting on mostly level surfaces like a hitting mat.
  • The Velocity tee is almost essential for using the BirdieBalls with a driver and are not included directly.

Our Experience

BirdieBalls are really an amazing product. I was very surprised by how well each time I hit the BirdieBall they responded and flew like a traditional golf ball. I attempted to hit draws, hook, fades and some slices to see if the BirdieBalls would perform like practice balls on the range. Each time, the BirdieBalls responded appropriately and it was fantastic to be able to hit some shots away from the course without having to spend any money on range balls. I can easily see a direct path to golfers swapping range sessions for BirdieBalls if they are space, time, or budget limited.
