The best way to get all the benefits of golf is to  walk . It is better for you, it’s better for the course and for most golfers it helps them shoot better scores. The best way to walk is without  carrying  your  golf bag .

If you don’t have a full time caddy, then the absolute best option is a Clicgear push cart. This review takes you through the new Clicgear Model 4.0 flagship  push cart  and the benefits it can deliver to you round-after-round.

Key Features

The Clicgear Model 4.0 push cart quickly folds for compact transport or storage.

The Model 4.0 features a front-wheel hand brake, a large console for your scorecard, pencil, tee, and balls, and an umbrella mount and bracket.

The Model 4.0 push cart fits almost all golf bags including stand, cart, and staff bags.

Design and Technology

Clicgear has set the standard in push cart technology for decades. First-in-class in convenience and usability, the Model 4.0 is the most complete three-wheel push cart ever produced.

Up to 4 accessories can be attached at the mount points, a large storage net makes getting to all of your equipment easy, and the cart folds and unfolds quickly and without tools. Overall, the 21-pound heavy duty frame is made with incredible quality.

Clicgear Model 4.0 Golf Push Cart

The Clicgear Model 4.0 golf push cart is a high-performance, three-wheeled cart designed to provide golfers with an effortless and efficient way to transport their clubs around the course. Featuring a sturdy 21-pound frame made of aircraft-grade aluminum, adjustable silicone bag straps, and ample storage options including a large console and storage net, this cart is built for durability and convenience. With a compact folding design and maintenance-free tires, it's easy to maneuver and control, even uphill, though the non-swiveling front wheel may require a bit more effort in tight spaces. Praised by users for its stability and long-lasting construction, the Clicgear Model 4.0 is a reliable choice, backed by a 3-year warranty on the frame and 1-year warranty on parts.

PROS

  • The Clicgear Model 4.0 push cart is easy to use and easy to fold down for storage making it one of the most convenient push carts on the market.
  • A large suite of accessories and accessory mounts make the Model 4.0 push cart adaptable for every single type of golfer.
  • The sturdy design of the Model 4.0 will keep your club secure while the lightweight frame is easier to navigate on the course.

CONS

  • The Model 4.0 push cart is premium in every way and that means a higher price tag than other push cart options.
  • Some golfers may prefer the walking experiences with a three-wheel cart that comes standard with a swiveling front wheel.
  • Depending on where you play golf, simply renting a push cart at your club can be a more convenient way to get a better walking experience.

Our Experience

Truthfully, I have not used a push cart very often. The Clicgear Model 4.0 is surprisingly easy to load and unload and a much better experience than carrying your clubs. As a player that still often walks but wants to carry a bag full of clubs and accessories, the Clicgear Model 4.0 push cart has been a lifesaver.

I take it out every single golf round I play, and I always prefer pushing to even riding as a playing experience. That is not to even mention the cost savings it produces every single time I head to the course. I will save roughly $400 this year thanks to my Clicgear Model 4.0 push cart, and you could too.
