The whole place feels more like a cool beachside startup than a traditional golf company. They’ve got a skate ramp, ping pong tables, and even host member events at their Redondo Beach headquarters. It’s golf gear with a different kind of culture behind it.

But the heart of the MNML story is the quality of their products. These guys are incredibly serious about what they do.

The MR2 is their newest release. It follows up the MR1, which already had a lot of fans in the minimalist golf bag space.

But this new model?

It’s a full-on upgrade!

And, guys, the all-magnetic pocket design is brilliant.

Alright, this wouldn’t be complete without a few minor nitpicks.

• First: If you’re someone who needs tons of club separation, the MR2’s 5-way top with three full-length, enclosed dividers might feel a little cramped. If you’re someone who insists on full-length dividers for every club, this might not be your dream setup.
• Second: the solar charger is a great backup, but don’t expect it to work miracles. If you’re planning to stream music, charge your phone, and keep a rangefinder juiced all in one round, you’re gonna run out of power. Think of it as a safety net, not a full-time generator.

And finally, this bag isn’t cheap. $319 gets you the bag and built-in power bank. Add the Bluetooth speaker and you’re up to $358. That’s definitely not a budget option.

But, honestly, guys, I think this bag is a steal at this price. I mean, to get something that’s this loaded with tech and that is this unique and stylish for less than $400, I think it's a very fair price.

Absolutely, while the MNML MR2 Golf Bag is a great product, there are a few pros and cons that you need to be aware of:

Pros:

• Innovative Features: Includes a filming pocket specifically designed at an ideal height and position to record your swing, compatible with both iPhone and Android devices.

Cons: 

• Strap System Issues: The straps are extremely wide, which can make it difficult for your arms to hang naturally and may cause the straps to pinch or dig into your body during carrying.

• Limited Storage When Full: The magnetic pockets, while innovative, can struggle to stay shut when packed too full, and items may fall out if the pockets are overstuffed.

• Divider Snagging: The plush dividers at the top can snag from time to time, especially if you have oversized or midsize grips on your clubs.

Look, I’m not gonna tell you that this is the best bag for every single golfer.

If you prefer something ultra-basic, there are cheaper, simpler bags that’ll do the trick.

But if you want a golf bag with built-in technology, that’s sustainable, customizable, and just flat-out more interesting than anything else on the rack?

This is the one.

Guys, this is just such a cool golf bag. The MNML MR1 was already awesome. Now the build quality is stepped up a notch, the leg mechanism is better, and what was already a really smart design is even smarter.
