If you’ve spent any time in the past reading our launch monitor reviews, you know we’re big fans of Rapsodo here at Golfer’s Authority. Having personally tried every launch monitor they’ve ever made, I can say with full confidence that they really know what they’re doing.

When I was at the PGA Merchandise Show this past week, I had the chance to check out their all new MLM2 Pro Launch Monitor, and man is it cool.

It’s new features and capabilities are a major upgrade from previous generations, and I can’t wait to tell you all about it.

Key Features

More than 30,000 preloaded courses allow you to play or practice anywhere in the world

Features spin data recording capability

Two cameras ensure deadly accuracy for all data points.

Design and Technology

The MLM2 is jam-packed with tech and design features that simply set it apart from other affordable launch monitors.

To start, it features dual cameras and doesn’t require the use of your smartphone’s camera like previous models. One camera is situated in the down the line view, while the other is face on. Both record some 240 frames per second.

Additionally, the swing vision feature pairs with your smartphone or tablet to give you even more angles of your swing for in-depth analysis.

Yet another new feature is the MLM2’s ability to record spin data when you use the Callaway RPT Chrome Soft X golf ball whose dimple pattern was designed specifically for the MLM2.

All told, the MLM2 tracks 13 core figures. New additions include descent angle and spin axis.
It also pairs with E6 Connect and Awesome Golf.

The premium membership gives enough room to store up to 10,000 videos.

It also offers four different speeds of slow-motion replay, club fitting capabilities, and interactive competitions with other Rapsodo users.

With its user-friendly interface, compact design, and affordable price point, the MLM2Pro is poised to revolutionize the way golfers practice and analyze their game.

Our Experience

When I had to jump on the Rapsodo MLM2 Pro last week at the PGA Merchandise Show, I was blown away by how accurate it is. Also, the cutting-edge functions and features that truly give you every piece of data you need to understand your golf game on an advanced level.
From what I’ve seen so far in 2023 for launch monitors, it wouldn’t surprise me if the MLM2 Pro quickly becomes everyone’s consensus pick.
