I just got back from the PGA Merchandise Show last week and had the chance to meet the guys at Sunday Golf. They’re a relatively new golf bag manufacturer that’s already made quite the name for themselves.
So far, they’ve introduced three lightweight stand bags that are minimal in their design, but well-built and perfect for golfers that like to walk and don’t need or want a ton of extra features.
Keep reading to find out more about their Loma XL golf bag.
Full length Dualflex stand system gives the bag plenty of stability no matter where you set it down.
Heavily cushioned dual straps make the bag easy to carry.
Frosty insulated pocket keeps your beverages cold all round.
Even though the Loma XL is minimal in its design, there are still a number of useful features worth mentioning.
To start, this bag expands on the design of the original Loma. From a functionality perspective, the biggest difference is that it holds more clubs. The three-way top divider has room for eight instead of six.
While this bag can easily fit on a power cart, it’s designed for golfers that prefer to walk and carry their clubs. That’s where the heavily padded self-adjusting double strap comes in. Carrying the Loma XL is super comfortable.
Even though the bag is small, there’s plenty of room to store everything you need. In all, there’s an apparel pocket, ball pocket, valuables pocket, and an insulated frosty pocket that can hold several drinks and keeps them cold all round.
Lastly, the full-length Dualflex stand system gives the Loma XL plenty of balance and stability when you set it down.
The Sunday Golf Loma XL is a versatile and lightweight golf bag designed for golfers who prefer a minimalist approach to their game. It is an updated and slightly larger version of the original Loma bag, offering additional features and space for up to 8 clubs, making it ideal for half sets, practice rounds, or short courses. With its dual strap system, foldable standing legs, and ample storage for essentials like balls, tees, and personal items, the Loma XL provides a comfortable and convenient carrying experience.

When I put it on my back, I hardly knew it was there. The padded straps are super comfortable.
Overall, this bag is a winner in my book.
