Whenever someone in my regular group narrowly misses a putt, we say “sweet roll, no coffee.” I don’t know where this came from, but the moniker has stuck and is used by everyone.
We were out for one final round before Christmas, and I noticed one of our more colorful regulars had a new putter grip. Upon closer inspection, it was adorned with red roses and green leaves. A bit perplexed, I asked Matt how this grip found its way onto his putter.
Long story short, it’s called the “Bachelor”, and one of Matt’s friends bought it for him as a joke about his perpetual singleness. Fitting.
Matt putted the eyes out of the hole that day, and I was curious to learn more. So, I went home and researched the manufacturer, Sweet Rollz.
The company makes quality golf accessories, but is best known for its festive, quality putter grips.
Wide array of putter grip designs means there’s something for everyone.
New designs and patterns are always being introduced meaning there’s always something new and fresh to choose from.
Quality grip construction feels soft in your hands and optimizes feel and feedback.
The founders at Sweet Rollz had a vision when they started the company. They realized that putter grips had largely been drab and boring for far too long.
They set about changing that status quo and were immediately successful.
Today, their grips are the most colorful and unique in the game.
While they look sharp, their quality shouldn’t be underestimated. They’re soft, well-built, and worth the price you pay.
While Sweet Rollz grips might not be the quickest assurance to shoot your lowest score ever, they’ll definitely be a statement piece that allows you to have a lot of fun.
Serious golfers can be a bit eccentric. As a group, we like to show our individuality and find all sorts of ways to do so.
Since Sweet Rollz made a name for itself not that long ago, their colorful putter grips have been immensely popular for golf nuts of all shapes, sizes, and abilities.
If you’re a fan individuality and like to express it, you need to check out Sweet Rollz putter grips.
PROS
CONS
If there was ever a guy that should have a Sweet Rollz putter grip, it’s Matt, the cat I mentioned earlier. He’s as colorful as they come and has no problem showing it off.
After our round the other day, I did some research and ordered my own Sweet Rollz putter grip. I went with the Scottie as I’m a bit more of a traditionalist. Red is the primary color and it’s checkered with a traditional Scottish plaid pattern.
While I’m certainly drawn to this grip’s design, I was equally impressed with its feel and performance. I was able to feel solid contact in my fingers, and my speed control was spot on. A pleasant surprise indeed.
