I might be a little biased, but like a lot of our readers, I think golf is the hardest game in the world. In theory, it sounds ridiculously simple – just whack a stationary little white ball into a hole.

However, if you’re reading this review, I’m sure you know that the game is immensely more involved. Don’t believe me? Just ask some of the GOAT’s from other sports. Wayne Gretzky, Michael Jordan, John Elway. They all say golf is the hardest game they’ve ever played.

And that’s true for everyone. Nothing ever stays the same in golf. Conditions are always different, your swing changes from day to day, and countless other variables have to be taken into consideration on every shot.

For most of us, getting better at this maddening game is a constant uphill battle. Unlike any other sport, the market is flooded with training aids all promising to be the magic bullet for your game.

While that’s never the case, some training aids are better than others. We recently tried out the Swing Align and Goal Post training aids. As a group, we came to the conclusion that they’re two of the best we’ve ever seen.

Key Features

Revolutionary connection belt keeps your arms in sync with your body to improve timing and rotation.

Attachable rod extensions allow you to easily see different positions in your swing as you’re practicing.

Goal Post putting training aid attaches easily to your putter and makes visualization easy.

Design and Technology

The Swing Align training aid comes with a number of different components that require careful assembly. When you receive the product, make sure to follow the assembly directions closely.

All parts are constructed with high-grade plastic and are easily adjustable. The arm cuffs, connection belt, and rod extensions are built to fit just about any body type or shape.

The Goal Post putting aid attaches easily to any style of putter and is also easily adjustable. When you attach this training aid to your putter, you’ll be making center-face contact in no time.

Both the Swing Align and Goal Post come with a 90-day, no questions asked game improvement guarantee, and a lifetime warranty should a part become defective.

PROS

  • Both training aids provide excellent visual reference and feedback.
  • Swing Align improves fundamentals and golf swing as a whole, not just a single aspect.
  • 90-day guarantee and lifetime warranty are unprecedented.

CONS

  • Assembly for the Swing Align is more complicated than other training aids.
  • Cost is a little higher than other, similar products.
  • Shipping times can vary based on inventory levels.

Our Experience

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m always a little skeptical when I hear about a new training aid. And when I first received the Swing Align and Goal Post, I was a little taken aback by all the different parts and involved assembly process.

Once I had everything put together however, I immediately realized the huge benefits both training aids offer. Not only do these training aids offer exceptional visual feedback, they allow you to work on every aspect of your swing all at once.

Does the Swing Align take a little time to get used to? Sure. Does it have the ability to radically improve your game? Absolutely.
