If it seems like we’ve been reviewing a lot of shoes from TRUE Linkswear lately, it’s because we have. But it’s with good reason. In 2023, the company has released a number of iconic new shoes that have taken the golf world by storm.

Rounding out the selection of this year’s TRUE shoes we’ve already reviewed are the TRUE FS Slide shoes.

While you probably won’t want to walk 36 holes in these shoes, they’re some of the most comfortable lifestyle shoes I’ve ever worn.

Whether I’m headed to the grocery store, or am lounging around the pool with kids, these shoes are super comfortable, built to last, and super easy to slip on and off.

Key Features

Three-piece construction provides stability and maintains integrity over time.

Recovery Insert Topper and Wanderlux Superforam afford maximum comfort.

High Density Superfoam Sole maximizes durability.

Design and Technology

For a shoe that’s so simple in its design, the FS Slide is full of innovative features we’ve come to expect from TRUE.

The foundation of the FS Slide’s design lies in its three-piece construction that’s made of sustainable materials that provide durability, traction, and most important of all, comfort.

And when we’re talking about comfort, we’re talking about comfort for your whole foot. Part of the equation is the Recovery Insert Topper that’s stuffed with Wanderlux Superfoam. This gives the tops of your feet plenty of padding and protection.

The sole of this shoe is also packed with high-density Superfoam to add yet another layer of comfort and durability.

A pair of removable, interchangeable tongue pulls also come with the FS Slides and allow you to further customize the shoes to your desired comfort and fit.

Just like every shoe TRUE makes, traction won’t be a problem with the FS Slides. Their soles have Future Staples rubber tread that prevents you from sliding on almost any surface.

Don’t worry if you get these shoes a little wet, either. They’re water friendly and dry out quickly.

Lastly, the FS Slides come in a reusable bag instead of a cardboard box like most other shoes.

Our Experience

I spend a lot of time working on different projects pertaining to the Golfer’s Authority website and brand. But when I occasionally do get the chance to relax, the first thing I do is slip into my TRUE FS Slides.

Not only are these shoes easy to get on and off, they’re extremely well built and ultra-comfortable. Whether I’m hanging out at home, in town running errands, or chasing my kids around at one of their various activities, these are my go-to shoes.
