More than ever before, forgiveness is the name of the game when it comes to putter design. Though small-headed, blade-style putters still have their place, larger, more forgiving putters are quickly gaining popularity.

Perhaps no other putter manufacturer has embraced putters with high MOI than Cure. Through industry-leading research and testing, Cure has constructed the most forgiving putter on the market with the RX5. For golfers of all abilities, the Cure RX5 putter provides the utmost in forgiveness and stability. The result? More consistent contact and more holed putts. Let’s have a closer look.

Key Features

Unmatched MOI provides golfers excellent stability and forgiveness.

More than 200 grams of adjustable weights allow golfers to match weight to their liking and the speed of the greens.

Interchangeable shafts and adjustable lie angle make the fitting process fast and easy.

Design and Technology

There’s no shortage of leading-edge design and technology in the Cure RX5 putter.

To start, the head is six inches wide. That’s right, it’s literally the biggest putter on the market. This increases MOI which translates to maximum forgiveness under the rules of golf.

The heads are made of aircraft-grade aluminum which has allowed the design team to efficiently distribute head weight where it matters most. Because this material is so much lighter than steel, it gives the face a softer, more responsive feel that helps with speed control.

Interchangeable stainless steel weights sit in both the toe and the heel. This increases MOI at impact and provides stability. What’s even better is the weight adjustment range is more than 200 grams. In short, there’s a perfect weight for every golfer and every green speed.

The RX5 putter also allows golfers to adjust the lie angle all the way from eight degrees flat to eight degrees upright. For that reason, the RX5 is easy to fit to any golfer.

Cure RX5 Putter

This club is packed with impressive features and benefits that will take your golf game to the next level. The wide sole and low center of gravity head design make it incredibly easy to set up and use effectively.

You’ll be able to confidently address the ball and execute your shots with precision and accuracy. And with its versatile 37-degree loft, you’ll have the perfect tool for various short game shots. Whether you need to chip it close to the pin or play a bump-and-run, the RX5 Chipper has got you covered.

PROS

  • Extremely high MOI provides golfers maximum stability and forgiveness.
  • Weight adjustability makes customization easy.
  • Adjustable lie angle makes fitting for any golfer simple.

CONS

  • Abnormally large head design may take some getting used to.
  • Price point is higher than other, similar putters.
  • Single head shape may not fit the needs of every player.

Our Experience

I’ve always been a streaky putter. When I’m hot, the hole looks as big as the ocean. When I’m off however, it looks like the size of the thimble. Over the years, I’ve learned that the main reason for my inconsistent putting has more to do with making solid contact than anything.

That’s why I couldn’t wait to get the RX5 in my hands. Looking down at the head for the first time was a bit of a shock to my system. Set behind the golf ball, the head looked like a Volkswagen on a stick. However, after I hit a few putts, I noticed a huge difference in stability compared to my normal putter.

My stroke felt much more stable on short putts and my contact improved dramatically on lag putts. I tested a few different weights and eventually found the right setup for my stroke and the green speed.

It’s easy to see how any golfer could benefit from the forgiveness and easy adjustability of this putter.
