It seems like every time I turn around, TravisMathew is coming out with another quality piece of golf apparel. Whether it’s a new polo, pair of shorts, hat, or belt, their stuff seems to remain ever popular with serious golfers that appreciate quality and expect the very best.

What many golfers don’t know, however, is that the company carries a line of lifestyle shoes that are equally as good.

The Cuater by TravisMathew’s The Daily Shoe might be the best of the lot.

Key Features

SweetSpot Cushioning System provides ample support for your entire foot.

Lightweight knit upper protects the top of your foot but is also breathable.

Rubber outsole enhances durability and affords plenty of traction.

Design and Technology

When you buy any piece of TravisMathew apparel, you know its design has been well thought out and incorporates the very best technology.

Comfort was the first priority during the conception of the Cuater by TravisMathew’s The Daily Shoe. That starts with the SweetSpot Cushioning System that provides extra support and padding for maximum comfort at all times.

The lightweight knit upper secures the top of your foot but isn’t suffocating.

The body is made from a blend of nylon and spandex that stretches just enough to allow your feet freedom of movement.

Rubber inserts on the sole are strategically positioned to provide the utmost traction and ensure durability over continuous use.

PROS

  • SweetSpot Cushioning and rubber outsoles provide great support and comfort.
  • Nylon/spandex material gives your feet plenty of freedom while keeping them protected.
  • Knit upper allows the top of the foot to breathe.

CONS

  • Limited color choices might be a limiting factor for some.
  • Price point is higher than other lifestyle shoes on the market.
  • Shipping times can be variable depending on color and size supply levels.

Our Experience

If you’ve read many of our other reviews, you know what a big fan I am of everything TravisMathew makes. That’s no different when it comes to the Cuater by TravisMathew’s The Daily Shoe.

I own a couple of pairs and wear them just about everywhere I go. They pair great in the office with a pair of slacks and are perfect for a casual stroll at the Muni with my buddies on a Saturday morning. Heck, I even wear them to my son’s little league game where I holler words of encouragement from the dugout.

As someone that spends a lot of time on my feet, I’ve found that other shoes break down and cause my feet, legs and lower back to hurt after a while. That’s definitely not the case with the Cuater by TravisMathew’s The Daily Shoe. The thick rubber bottoms and SweetSpot Cushioning provide all the support I need and have stood the test of time.
