Many golfers struggle to shoot great scores because of their short game. Players can often be plagued with  chipping  and  pitching  difficulties due to either ill-fitting equipment or poor technique.

Cutter Golf is introducing golfers to a  wedge  designed to help players looking to hit more greens and get up and down more often from a variety of grasses and tight lies. Eye catching and bold, the Cutter Wedge by Cutter Golf is perfect for players looking for the most help possible in their short game.

Key Features

The Cutter Golf wedge boasts a larger sweet spot and oversized club face.

The Cutter Golf wedge uses a reduced leading edge to help players cut through roughs and long grasses with less effort.

Each Cutter wedge has been optimized for a center of gravity that can help you reduce your slice and find the green more often.

Design and Technology

The Cutter Golf has been strategically engineered to help players reduce their slice or fade misses. Each Cutter wedge has a club face that is wider heel to toe and built with a larger sweet spot.

The leading edge has been carved away making the Cutter wedge travel seamlessly through grasses and help you hit the golf ball fat less often. The Cutter wedge also features a symmetrical crescent sole that makes alignment more consistent and promotes a squarer club face.

Cutter Golf Wedge

The Cutter Golf Wedge is a revolutionary golf club designed to transform your short game with its innovative design and technology. Unlike traditional wedges, the Cutter Wedge features a unique oval-shaped base and a triangular profile from face-on, which aims to provide better physics for improved golf performance. This design allows for a larger surface area, a smaller striking zone when chipping, and a curved leading edge that cuts through rough and turf with ease, reducing friction and enhancing control. With its focus on maximizing contact and consistent shots, the Cutter Wedge promises to help golfers hit closer to the hole, making it an intriguing option for those looking to enhance their short game.

PROS

  • Symmetrical shape and optimized center of gravity lead to a club that is easier to launch and easier to align.
  • The thinner leading edge will help some players hit their golf ball from the rough more easily.
  • The Cutter Golf Wedge excels at reducing golf shots that spin offline with a draw bias and more upright design.

CONS

  • The Cutter Golf wedge is very bold in its shape and will not suit the eye of golfers that prefer a traditional look.
  • Although coming soon, the current lack of loft and darker finish options will limit some buyers.
  • An inability to try the wedge for yourself in retail or pro shops would be greatly improved by a trial offer or demo kit.

Our Experience

Immediately out of the box, the Cutter wedge is bold. Its shape is pronounced and confidence inspiring. Admittedly, golfers that enjoy the traditional appearance of wedges will not be drawn to the oversize look of the Cutter wedge.

However, if you are a golfer that struggles with shots inside of 100 yards or who has trouble with wedge shots veering off to the right (right-handed golfers) the Cutter Golf wedge can offer you some help.

The performance of the Cutter wedge is unmistakable. Two things seem consistent no matter where the golf ball is lying, the Cutter wedge will help players hit a draw more often and it will help golfers hit the ball higher. The minimal leading edge will absolutely appeal to some players and enable more players to hit functional shots when chipping and pitching.

While the Cutter wedge is not for everyone, high handicap players and golfers that struggle with their short game need to be testing it for themselves.
