The first impression of the OnCore ELIXR was its unique feel. The ELIXR is one of the softest tour-level golf balls I have ever played. It is an absolute pleasure to putt and chip with. The beauty of the 3-piece construction is that the softness does not completely dull the feedback required to play great golf and I believe that this is truly the hallmark of the ELIXR golf ball.
