Do you like to play music while you’re out on the golf course? I know I sure do. There’s just something about it that adds a whole other element to the experience. I’m not sure if it helps me relax, play in rhythm, brightens my mood, or just gives everybody in my group something to bond over, but I’m a huge fan of playing music on the golf course.

The problem I had for the longest time though, was that I couldn’t find a reliable speaker. And simply playing music from my iPhone just wasn’t getting the job done.

That was until I discovered the Precision Pro Duo GPS speaker. While you might not think much about this speaker because it’s so small, I’m here to tell you it outperforms any speaker I’ve ever tried. Not to mention it’s jam packed with all sorts of cool features.

The Precision Pro Duo GPS Golf Speaker is the subject of today’s review, and I can’t wait to tell you all about it.

Key Features

Audible GPS yardages eliminate the need for an ulterior distance measuring device.

Premium audio is crystal clear and can be heard from across the fairway.

Speaker grill is interchangeable.

Design and Technology

Like I said, the Precision Pro Duo is compact in size. In fact, you can fit it in your front pocket if you want to. But don’t be fooled by its miniature size. It has a lot of cool stuff going for it.

The most important thing with any speaker is the quality of sound it puts out. Trust me, I’ve had my fair share of speakers that put out distorted or scratchy sounds and it just isn’t the same.

With the Precision Pro Duo, you’ll be able to hear whatever tune you’re playing loud and clear, even if you’re a long way away.

Another cool feature is the Duo’s ability to audibly give you yardages via the Precision Pro Golf app. All you have to do is turn on the speaker, fire up the app on your smartphone, and connect the two via Bluetooth.

When you do, you’ll get yardages that not only give you the distance to the pin, but are adjusted for uphill and downhill slopes. I’ve tested the accuracy of this GPS firsthand and can tell you the yardages are accurate within a single yard.

I have a tendency to lose a lot of stuff on the golf course, but I’ve never had to worry about losing the Precision Pro Duo speaker. You can attach it to your golf bag with the carabiner clip, or to the frame of your golf cart with the built-in magnet.

If you’re someone that likes a little flare, you’ll love the Duo. Its grill is interchangeable. Designs include an American flag, USA black, skeleton, floral, John Daly, and No Laying Up. Solid colors are light navy and orange.

The Precision Pro Duo is water resistant. You’ll never have to worry about it malfunctioning in the rain.

Lastly, I’m really impressed with how long the Duo can last on a single charge. We’re talking for up to ten hours. That’s a lot longer than other speakers I’ve had in the past.

As you can see, the Precision Pro Duo is a lot more than just a speaker.

The Precision Pro Duo GPS Golf Speaker is a versatile and compact golf accessory designed to enhance your golfing experience. This water-resistant speaker not only provides premium audio quality but also offers audible GPS distances with adaptive slope, making it an ideal companion for both walking and riding golfers. With its magnetic cart mount and carabiner bag tag, it easily attaches to your golf cart or bag, ensuring seamless integration into your game.

The Duo features a long-lasting battery life of up to 10 hours, Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, and customizable design with interchangeable grills, making it a standout choice among golf speakers.

PROS

  • Compact design doesn’t take up much storage room.
  • Adjusted GPS audible yardages make pulling the right club easy.
  • Interchangeable grills are great for golfers that appreciate style.

CONS

  • Some golfers prefer speakers that are larger in size.
  • Specific interchangeable grills aren’t always available.
  • Shipping times can vary depending on inventory levels and demand.

Our Experience

I don’t ever go to the golf course without my Precision Pro Duo. I love the fact that it doesn’t take up a lot of room in my golf bag, and the sound it puts out is unlike anything I’ve heard from another speaker.

Coupled with the fact that I don’t have to worry about shooting yardages anymore, and I’m completely sold on the Duo.

Conclusion

If you haven’t given this speaker a chance, I highly suggest you do. My guess is that it’ll be the last one you ever buy.
