The Titleist TS3 Driver has been on the market less than two months and is already receiving rave reviews. By Titleist’s own admission, the previous models of the 917 driver lagged behind their competitors in both clubhead speed and ball speed.

In an effort to level up to the competition, Titleist engineers embarked on a two-year mission to research and perfect their driver design. The result is the TS (Titleist Speed) 3 driver. With numerous design and technological improvements, the TS3 produces longer, more consistent tee shots for golfers of all levels. The Titleist TS3 Driver is perfect for players looking for greater distance and accuracy when on the tee .

Key Features

The SureFit adjustable sole weight not only gives players the option of different weights, but also to put more or less weight in either the heel or toe based on their preference.

The thinnest crown on the market has allowed weight to be distributed elsewhere in the clubhead to optimize aerodynamics for faster clubhead speed.

The face is the thinnest face Titleist has ever made at only 0.35mm which results in increased ball speed and distance.

Design and Technology

The Titleist TS3 driver may be the most technically sound driver that Titleist has ever made. This driver is perfect for the player looking for both increased speed and distance. With a slightly shorter and taller head compared to the previous 917 D3, the TS3 has an an increased length and lower spinning profile for penetrating shots off the tee.

At just 0.35mm, the face on the TS3 is razor-thin. With such a thin face, the TS3 head design has moved six grams of weight out of the face to elsewhere in the clubhead, not only making the face hotter, but increasing clubhead speed through improved aerodynamics.

The most prominent change in head design is a more pronounced camber from the face to the top of the crown and a sharp drop off moving from the crown to the back of the club. Coupled with the crown being 20% thinner, this design allows air to be held closer to the clubhead during the swing resulting in faster clubhead speed.

The SureFit adjustable weights in the TS3 allow players a multitude of options when dialing in their ideal launch conditions. Unlike other drivers on the market, the Surefit weights also allow players to increase weight in either the head or the toe to help alleviate hooks and slices .
