Maybe the feature I love most about the T9 is the fact that it only has one button and a touch screen. As someone that has a harder time than most with technology, I can attest that this watch is a piece of cake to use.
As soon as you get to the course, just turn the watch on and it will automatically switch over to golf mode. Once you’re out on the course, each hole will be mapped out right in front of you. As you get within range of the green, the watch switches over to green view mode so you can see all the minor details, humps, and bumps and strategize where you want to leave your next shot.
In my experience, the Voice Caddie T9 proved to be extremely accurate. You get front, middle, and back yardages on the green, and even adjusted yardages that account for uphill and downhill slopes. Just remember to turn off this feature if you’re playing in a tournament.
Another cool feature is the automatic shot distance measurement. After you make a swing, the T9 tracks how far you walk in between shots. Not only is this helpful for dialing in your yardages, it’s extremely useful when you’re trying to find errant golf balls.
Unlike the T8, the T9 keeps your score as you play.
Another new feature is Practice Tempo Mode. This feature measures your tempo both on the course and on the range when you’re practicing.
The T9 also contains a basic fitness tracker that tracks things like your steps, total distance, and calories burned.
Again, the all-new Voice Caddie T9 has some marked improvements that set it apart from the T8. With that said, it’s easy to use, highly reliable, and more affordable than most other GPS golf watches.
