We recently reviewed the Honma TR21 Big-LB and have nothing but good things to say. Having put out hands on the TR21 hybrid since then, we’re here yet again to sing the praises of the Honma brand.
Designed with many of the same materials and characteristics of the TR21 Big-LB fairway wood, this hybrid is a step above many of its more widely publicized competitors. That’s because Honma isn’t trying to manufacture as many clubs as possible and sell them to the masses like other companies.
While they want to get their clubs into the hands of discerning players, they’re focused on ensuring the quality and performance of their equipment above all else.
Tour-proven high-speed face affords maximum ball speed and distance.
Two adjustable sole weights allow players to dial in both launch and spin.
Compact shape allows players to hit different shots while ensuring perfect turf interaction.
The head of the Honma TR21 hybrid is constructed of the finest steel around. An ultrathin, high-speed face produces high ball speeds which result in explosive distance.
The TR21 is also one of the most adjustable hybrids on the market. That’s thanks to a non-rotating hosel that allows you to customize both loft and lie angle while maintaining shaft spine alignment.
VIZARD graphite shafts are designed exclusively for Honma in Sakata, Japan.
While the design and look of the TR21 is clean and simple, it’s full of design and technological features that far surpass other hybrids on the market.
The Homna TR21 hybrid is crafted in a way that both allows players to feel confident with it in their hands, and delivers premium performance shot after shot. The look of the club is classic with rounded edges and square top and bottom lines. Combined with the very best in technology and materials, the TR21 is one of the most advanced and highly sought after hybrids on the market.

The TR21 hybrids from Honma have proven to be game changers. Their classic shape, hot face, stability, and adjustability allow me to play well from long yardages in any conditions.
I won’t be changing hybrids any time soon.
